Welcome.

Born and raised in Greensboro, NC, Wesley Alston is a diligent, dedicated and passionate designer and artist who loves putting maximum effort into the most quality outcome possible for his work. His love for art and design began at an early age when he fell was influenced by uniforms of local high school basketball teams in Greensboro and the sneakers that complimented them. From here he began drawing his own ideas for uniforms and sneakers; thus, the flood gates opened.

After attending a design camp at NC State as a high school junior and undergoing three years in UNC-Charlotte’s graphic design program, he finally landed in the advertising and graphic design program at Guilford Technical Community College where he was able to build his skills in an array of programs in Adobe suite. Here he earned his associate’s degree in graphic design. En route to this, he was also able to continue his passion for footwear design by being accepted to Pensole-Lewis College of Business and Design for a six-week course and also attend “The Art of Footwear Making,” a workshop in Portland, OR which was solely focused on making a shoe sample from scratch.

Currently, he is attending North Carolina A&T pursuing a bachelor’s degree in graphic design as well and working in many mediums. Whether it be pencil and paper, Adobe suite, 3D modeling, or even photography, whenever he see’s a creative opportunity through his lens he decides to go for it. This has helped him come to understand that the world is so much more than basketball and footwear. This has also helped him understand his world even more. These experiences have created an entirely new lane for the creative design language that he wants to communicate. They are why he creates and this is the story that he wants to communicate.
